20 schools, 152 students and a whole bunch of great school supporters participated in the first ESSP student summit on June 7th.

A fantastic day was had by all invloved and once again all attending adults were totally blown away by the sophistication, energy and talent of all of our young people. There were even some tough questions for the politicians! The day was beautifully managed by the Millner PS student leaders.

Held at Millner PS, a school with 360 solar panels, the day invloved small and large discussion groups, school tours, story swapping and an action plan for implementation in term 3.

A big thanks to all invloved, the host school and staff and particularly Susan Wills who made the day possible - she is now carbon neutral!!

Look out world - there a bunch of very fine young minds bent on saving the planet....NT_DET_Publication_June_2010.pdf
